Tommie J. Johnson was born November 9, 1947, in Decatur County, Georgia. He was the son of Woodrow Johnson and Ida Pearl Levens Johnson.
He enlisted in the United States Army. Tommie served one tour of duty in Vietnam.
He departed his earthly life on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Bainbridge, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Willie George Johnson and Vernon Lee Johnson, and sister Annie Jean Bennett.
He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Tshombe Willingham of Bainbridge, GA; a granddaughter, Melissa Renee Miller of Jacksonville, FL; seven additional grandchildren; three sisters: Janice Dorsey of Bainbridge, GA, Almarene Hardeman, and Addie Sims, both of Conyers, GA; a brother, Derrol Johnson (Corene) of Bainbridge, GA; five nephews; and many acquaintances.
